Our Bodies Are Us: Somatics as a Possibility of Deeper Connections to Ourselves and Others

April 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

What becomes possible for us if we experience our bodies as a part of who we are and how we relate to others?

Join us on Monday, April 15, from 12:00–1:30pm, for our next QCAP Mental Health Workshop, “Our Bodies Are Us: Somatics as a Possibility of Deeper Connections to Ourselves and Others,” with somatics practitioner and educator Sumitra Rajkumar.

We will build awareness of how our thoughts, emotions, and sensations are connected and how that awareness can give us more of who we are, including in relationships. Sumitra will lead us in gentle practices that help pause and organize ourselves somatically (linking thoughts, emotions, and sensations) to rehearse more choices in how we feel, act, and connect.

Refreshments will be provided, including halal, kosher, and vegetarian snacks!
