The QCAP Internship Program provides opportunities for experiential learning, leadership, and mentoring for Queens College’s Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students. The program places students with NYC organizations that serve local AAPI communities and align with their personal, academic, and professional interests and goals. In previous semesters, QCAP Interns have been matched with community organizations such as Apex for Youth, Chhaya CDC, Little Manila Queens Bayanihan Arts, MinKwon Center for Community Action, and South Queens Women’s March.
FALL 2025 INTERNSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN!
For more opportunities, visit QC’s Center for Career Engagement and Internships, and check out CUNY Spring Forward and other CUNY Internship Programs and job opportunities.
Eligible applicants will be contacted for brief interviews with the QCAP Program Coordinator. Applicants will then be notified about initial decisions. Students who are accepted and successfully matched with a community organization will begin their internships in early June.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW & EXPECTATIONS
- If accepted, QCAP Interns will be placed with a local community-based organization in New York City.
