⭐️UPCOMING EVENTS

Tue 11/05: QCAP’s Mental Health Workshop with Renee Floresca

Join us for our second fall QCAP Mental Health Workshop, “EVERYTHING IS (NOT) FINE!,” on Tuesday, November 5, from 12:00–1:30pm in the President’s Lounge/Q-Side (Dining Hall 120 & 122), facilitated by Filipina actor, artist, writer, and educator Renee Floresca! This will be a fun, interactive storytelling/writing workshop designed for students looking to unwind and destress. Through writing and theater practices, mindfulness exercises, and open discussion, this workshop will help us “let go” and “release” that which does not serve us. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need a break, this workshop is a safe space to share, laugh, and discover that it’s okay not to be okay. Come as you are, and leave a little lighter! And snacks will be provided!

Wed 11/20: AACS + QCAP Chai (& Cocoa) Chat

Stop by the QCAP Community Space (Powdermaker Hall 251, on the 2nd floor by the Urban Studies department office) on Wednesday, November 20, during free hour (12:15–1:30pm), for some chai, cocoa, and snacks and the chance to be in community with AAPI faculty, students, and allies! This is a great opportunity to learn more about QC’s Asian American Community Studies (AACS) Minor and about QCAP and to ask any questions you might have! This is part of a series of monthly, free-hour Chai Chats that AACS and QCAP plan to host throughout the academic year—please join us! No registration necessary!

QCAP RECAP

AACS + QCAP Chai Chat (10/30)

The first AACS + QCAP Chai Chat of this semester kicked off with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Over chai and snacks, students and faculty gathered to connect and learn more about the exciting relaunch of the AACS Minor and QCAP’s journey into its third year. We chatted about the AAPI experience at QC, answered questions, and learned about the AACS Minor. Thank you to everyone who joined us! We are excited to continue our Chai Chats throughout the academic year and hope to see you at our next one in November!
